1281. Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga

There are so many great things about this cd. First, it's one of my summer albums - you know, a record you play all summer long. Secondly it's pure pop genius, with just the perfect dashes of weirdness. It's as if the band could have made this album all along, but have been fighting it forever - so much so that for their follow up the reverted back to their old ways, staying strange and hypnotic, as opposed to this which is lustfully addicting. I've never done coke in any form, but have had many friends who have, and I picture the rush of it on your tongue to feel like this record.
