1146. Black Crowes - Lions

Lions finds the Crowes with a slight return to form, bringing an edge back that was sorely missing from the previous LP. While it does have some moments of brilliance, and experimentation, at other times the songs are formulaic and the lyrics predicatble. If it had pushed farther Lions could have been in a standout funk rock record.
