Let it bleed has so many classics on it that you would be hard pressed to play it for someone and expect them to hear it with virgin ears. The album has a casualness to it, and is both intimate and epic, creating songs that fall perfectly into place. It is so confident that it feels like a private moment where things are sloppy but feel right.
