654. Letters to Cleo - here & now

I was young! Well not that young, but it was a tough time for music, and I was easily swayed... at least I got the CD single only. The two songs aren't that bad actually. One was supposedly on the show Melrose Place (it says so on the back, I honestly never saw the show)... but to the best of my knowledge this was their only moment in the sun.

I actually have that song too. I've got in on the Melrose Place soundtrack. A friend of mine used to work at the local radio station so I got a few promos here and there. That was one.

I wonder if anyone actually bought their album?

But this far exceeds my expectations!!! They blew the doors off with this amazing album! Hard, metal sounds with 'This Means War' and 'Kiss it Goodbye' mixed with beautiful, soft ballads "Holding On to Heaven' and Trying Not to Love You.' And, what can I say about Lullaby? Probably THE most beautiful song the guys have ever recorded!!. Move on to the tongue and cheek songs 'Gotta Get Me Some' and Midnight Queen'...yeah, Nickelback is back and it was worth the wait!!!
