Brilliant. One of a kind. I don't know why people are labeling this record as prog metal - sure it does have some Yes era prog in there, along with Santana, jazz, funk, Stevie Wonder and anything/everything else Omar and Cedric could think of. Rubin's production just makes this into one big epic fuck - with even the quietest moments amped up to amazing detail. It took me about 20 listens, with headphones and without, to digest all of it. I also swear that I can hear every lick John Frucsiante plays. A classic, that will only get better and better with time.
