247. Sonic Youth - Dusseldorf, Germany, 1996 (bootleg)

I'm not a religious man, but there I was listening to the last disc in my SY collection and, thanks to some divine intervention, the bootlegged concert turned out to be played during an easter festival in Germany. The audio quality is great, and the band is touring on a great album, 'washing machine' and the set is short but tight. The live version of the 'Diamond Sea' turns out to be more disastrous than epic, but still a great closer for a show. Listen to the track below for Thurston's happy easter greeting.
