Nothing like a sonic nurse to bring sonic youth back to life (god I'm bad at this writing thing). Their groove is back, laid down with a heavy thick hand and nearly perfect. I never heard 'Murray Street', but this is one of the band's strongest albums in a long time - you get the feeling that the band is playing a gig and just plays through 5 songs straight before even saying hello.
