This was the second SY album, my first being 'Goo' - this edition I have is even on the original SST label, not the Geffen reissues. 'Sister' is a great album, Steve's drumming anchors the band's constant exploration into noise and spoken word - you can tell that the band is getting settled into their sound, wearing it comfortably. Not epic, but tight.
