I never heard D Jr with Lou Barlow, which I realize is a shame since I have heard my share of Sebadoh and Folk Implosion and can only wonder what he sounded like with J Mascis. Green Mind is a better album than I remembered. J's voice can sometimes sound sort of fake or forced, but for the most part it lends itself well to his 'happy to be sad' pop songs. An interesting, but not essential album.
