Yes I'm back and now that the world cup is out of the way, summer is finally over and I've taken my trip I should, in theory, be able to pick up the pace with this blog.

So a Morphine B-sides disc. I'm not sure why I have this since I am not a super huge fan, but it pretty much has the same appeal any bsides disc has: there are tracks that could belong on any real band record and then there are the oddities that not even the most die hard fan could ever like. The disc doesn't smell good nor stink...

On 'Cure for Pain' the band starts to make it's way out of possible cliched sounds and into more moody stuff. The sound is more serious, even a bit bigger and thicker - but still at times the lyrics lack some serious craft. Still enjoyable music from a three piece.
